Tuesday Picks - Ked(d)vtelés

Tuesday Picks 19/02

1. I have this week off from uni and even though I have to work sometimes, I am free for the rest of the week and will be celebrating it with long bed hours, several episodes of my favorite series, and comfortable clothes (read: sleeping gowns). From time to time it is necessary and much needed to forget about fashion styles and enjoy a little bit the heaven called knitted cardigan and comfortable underwear.

2. The seemingly never ending winter tries to spoil your mood but it doesn't mean you have to let it! Start to plan your summer holiday, weekend getaways, romantic road trips. Not only will you find some great early bird deals on airline tickets and hotel bookings but it will put you into the right mindset. Don't give up! The spring is only a couple of weeks away.

3. My latest craze is for regular English breakfast tea. In my country drinking tea with milk sounds gross, therefore I did have my doubts, but when my British colleague prepared me a cup of creamy, silky, strong and delicious English tea I could not say NO.

4. Here's how to organize your flowers from the supermarket. So pretty. I'm such a sucker of flowers lately. Too bad the bunch of tulips I got last week at the farmer's market decided to touch the ground with their head and shake their bright yellow pollen all around the flat.  Hogyan készítsünk szépséges virágcsokrokat otthonra.

5. Pearl necklace. You did not except anything different fashion-wise after me mentioning English tea and flowers, did you? A fine young lady would never forget to put a good old piece of pearl necklace on when she goes to luncheon (Blair Waldorf, what did you do to me?). It can easily turn your most casual outfit a bit cuter, your little black dress a bit classier and it does turn you into a princess for a little while. You can overdo, like Carrie did here once or go classy like Sarah Jessica Parker. You can have it short as the First Lady wore it or long, like Riri (well, I did not expect more from Rihanna). Klasszikus kiegészítő, ami a legtöbb öltözékhez illik.
